It's been a weird college basketball season. I cannot recall a season in recent memory that had so much parity. Top-ranked teams are falling on a weekly basis, and conference games across the country seem even harder to predict than ever before.
Knowing how weird this season was, it was still hard to be optimistic as a Penn State fan. It seemed like the Nittany Lions were separate from the insanity and the parity, immune to the upset virus that had swept through the bottom of conference standings across the country. Sitting at 0-14 in the Big Ten will do that, especially after the missed opportunities at home against the likes of Nebraska and Iowa.
