After 119 days of no NHL hockey, the final step of ending the lockout has been completed and hockey is officially back!
Following the announcement that the Memorandum of Understanding has been signed by both the NHL and NHLPA, the Philadelphia Flyers released their official schedule for the shortened 2012-13 season.
As expected, several games will be played each week at a very fast pace in this forty eight game campaign. The Flyers open up the season Saturday, January 19 at 3:ooPM at the Wells Fargo Center as they take the ice with the Pittsburgh Penguins. What a way to start the season. With little time to rest, the Flyers will travel to Buffalo to meet the Sabres in a Sunday afternoon game.
Per the Flyers twitter account, ticket sales for individual games will go on sale Tuesday, January 15 beginning at 10AM.
