After a long meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday (9 hours to be exact), Chip Kelly will remain in college football. The Oregon head coach had a few teams interested in him, with the Eagles being the most aggressive.
In the last four years, Chip Kelly and the Oregon Ducks have gone 46-7, and have appeared in four consecutive BCS bowl games.Chip's high octaned, fast offense would have raised some eyebrows in the National Football League, but it would have been interesting to see how he would adjust.
The Eagles have continued their search for a new head coach as they interviewed with Mike McCoy, the offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos. They will also meet with the Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, as well as the Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley.
