Just one night after defeatd by the New York Knicks and the three ball, the Sixers recorded their second loss of the season. The Sixers lost Monday's game at the Wells Fargo Center to the New York Knicks, 110-88. Yet again, the main problem was the three ball.
The Knicks shot 40.6% from the three point range, and again where led by Carmelo Anthony. Melo led New York with 21 points and 7 rebounds. As for the Sixers, they were led by Jrue Holiday as he posted 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 8 assists. Both Carmelo Anthony and Jrue Holiday led their teams in scoring on back to back nights of this home and home series. Monday night's game was physical, and usually the Sixers welcome that. Unfortunately, the Sixers were not ready for how physical the game really was.
What's Next?- On Wednesday night the Sixers tip-off against the New Orleans Hornets at the Wells Fargo. The gmae is on ESPN at 8:00pm, and can be heard on 97.5 the Fanatic.
