Yesterday the NHL and NHLPA met for about 7 hours. The CBA talks continued today/tonight as they met for around 5 and half hours. In the past two days, the two sides have met for roughly 13 hours, and that is not including the small, private meeting on Saturday night.
Tonight's talks were based solely on the "Make whole provision" and the revenue sharing. There is still plenty to talk about involving these two topics, and that leads to more "positive" news. The NHL and NHLPA have announced that they will be meeting again tomorrow.
Talks will resume tomorrow. Donald Fehr released a brief statement:
"The NHLPA and the NHL met today to discuss many of the key issues. We look forward to resuming talks tomorrow."
Updates to follow.
