Worley's Woes Continue as Phils Sellout Streak Comes to a Close

The sellout streak of 257 consecutive regular season games at Citizens Bank Park has come to an end.  The 2012 season has gotten fans very frustrated, as the team is essentially playing for nothing being far back in the standings.  Team president David Montgomery commented on the streak's legacy: 

“The number of sellouts could not have been possible without the tremendous loyalty of our fans who continue to lead all of Major League Baseball in average attendance this year."

The Phillies offense was silented by Ben Sheets, who lasted 7.1 innings giving up just one run, a home run by John Mayberry in the top of the seventh inning.

Cole Hamels starts Tuesday evening against young-lefty Mike Minor of the Atlanta Braves.
