Andrew Bynum was asked at his press conference on how he felt on being compared to Moses Malone and his general outlook on this season being a central cog and first-look option on the floor for the Philadelphia 76ers. He answered simply, "There's pressure, but pressure makes diamonds".
The scene was electrifying as Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson stepped on stage in the National Constitution Center in downtown Philadelphia, PA. Bynum & Richardson seemed more than enthused on coming to the Philadelphia franchise after the 4-team trade involving the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers, and Orlando Magic.
Between questioning from the press Bynum remained confident and even signed numerous autographs and remained humble in front of a demanding Philadelphia fan base.
When asked on the overall atmosphere in the Consitution Center Bynum responded, "I’ve never seen anything like this before”.
Look for the big man from Plainsboro, New Jersey, to make a splash in the Atlantic Division this season.
