According to Jeff Skversky, sportscaster at WPVI-TV 6abc in Philadelphia, the Philadelphia 76ers are preparing a multi-year extension for Andrew Bynum that would be around $20M per year, reported via Twitter.
As star center, Andrew Bynum, previously came out and stated at the Sixers Press Conference earlier last week, it seems as though he wants to make Philadelphia his home, and this deal would make that very apparent. With the re-signing of Bynum, the 76ers would cement themselves as not only a powerhouse in the Eastern Conference but a top 7 team in the entire NBA.
