Earlier this morning the Philadelphia Flyers announced that they and head coach Peter Laviolette had agreed on a multi-year deal that will keep him here for a couple of more seasons.
In his time so far with Philadelphia, Laviolette is 122-73-26 as Flyers coach. This is enough for the 3rd-most wins in the Eastern Conferece since 2009. His playoff record as well has been great with Philadelphia.

The Flyers are headed in the right direction with the young core that they have, it is only good that they will be lead by a man with grit, determination, and lots of JAM.
