With the signing of numerous free agents this off-season, the Philadelphia 76ers have become a frightening team in the Eastern Conference of the NBA.
The 76ers added guards Royal Ivey and Nick Young to the roster to add depth to the backcourt and a shooting presence behind Evan Turner and Jrue Holiday.
As far as the frontcourt goes, the 76ers signed rookiesArnett Moultrie & Maurice Harkless to multi-year contracts to give the starting big men some depth up front. Also former Temple forward, Lavoy Allen, was also re-signed to a longer deal to add some diversity to the post as well.
The problems going forward are the overstocking done at the wing position and the general direction the team is going in. At the wing position, the 76ers have forward Dorell Wright (acqired via trade), "Moe" Harkless, Thaddeus Young and let's not forget our current olympian Andre Iguodala.
As far as acquiring talent the Sixers haven't done a horrible job, they only problem ahead is how to fit in all this talent to make a championship contending team in the hardest division in the Eastern Conference.
Seems as though they might have some work ahead of them, looks like they'll be "working on the railroad all the live long day" as Johnny Cash and Blues Traveler popularly put.
