Report: Trent Edwards Likely To Be An Eagle Soon

Jonathan Tamari of the Philadelphia Inquirer says the Eagles are likely to sign Trent Edwards very soon.

The Eagles have worked out Edwards and had him in for a physical and "that's something that may come about pretty quickly here," Roseman said. Asked later if that means a signing could be imminent he said, "that's fair."

 

Edwards will be another option to backup Michael Vick.

UPDATE: Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Eagles are signing Edwards to a one-year deal.
